MCs

We long to see people connected and engaged in smaller groups: what we call “missional communities.” Our hope is that these smaller groups will include our four core values:

CHRISTIAN — COMMUNITY — MISSIONAL — HOLISTIC

Because we embrace the teachings and divinity of Jesus Christ and the Scripture as God’s primary instrument by which He introduces His message, we will study the Text and take seriously what it says. Because we believe that salvation brings people together as a reflection of a triune God, we will take time to know and love one another well. Because we believe that the Church exists for the world and not for herself, we will find ways to introduce the Kingdom of God to others in our community through serving. Because we believe that the Gospel impacts every area of a person’s life and culture, we recognize that all we do in our Missional Communities is Communion (focus on our relationship with God), Community (focus on our relationship with others), and Service. We do not attempt or desire to completely separate them. We desire to unite them.

Ecclesia Clear Lake has several opportunities for you to experience missional communities. MCs are an important part of our church life, and we encourage everyone to pursue intentional community, communion, and serving.
