Worship Space Renovation
Jul 15, 2019

Hello, Church Family!

I want to bring you up to speed on some exciting changes that our coming to our worship space next month. As we announced in our worship gathering yesterday, the elders of ECL have approved a plan to renovate our stage area in the worship space at 218. Our new stage space will include a more "Table-Centric" design (centering the communion table in front of our stage), larger stage surface area, and off-stage-storage.

With over 30 members in our band, we have outgrown our current stage, and need more space to fit our ever-growing group of musicians and vocalists. This new stage will enable us to include more folks in our band each week, as well as provide more opportunities for creativity in our musical worship expressions.

This renovation will change the layout of the room a bit, so we wanted to prepare you, in case you're wondering where your favorite seat is going to be. We will still be able to get all of our chairs into the new seating arrangement, but you may want to arrive a little early on Sunday, August 4th to scope out a seat in the renovated space.
Construction will begin on Sunday afternoon, July 28th, following the conclusion of the Iglesia Cielos Abiertos worship gathering. Construction will proceed through the week, and the new stage will be ready on Sunday, August 4th. (Please note: In an effort to save a little time, we will be disassembling the stage backdrop wall over the next few weeks to prepare for the removal of the existing stage on July 28th.)

We are excited about these changes and are looking forward to the opportunities that this new arrangement will provide as we continue to pursue deeper relationships with God and each other through worship. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to email me at john@ecclesiaclearlake.org.

Sincerely,
Pastor John
