Much of the summer, we collected money to help provide school supplies, backpacks, and health services to children in our area. Because of your generosity, we were able to send $4,600 to Hope Active, the organization putting the event together. Thank you!

Last Saturday, Hope Active had the Back to School Bash. Eighteen children, youth, and adults from Ecclesia Clear Lake showed up to help run the event. Over 600 children were served. It was such a blast! I look forward to partnering with Hope Active more in the future.

One more thing. During our service this Sunday, our fantastic Director of Family Ministries is going to lead us in a time of intentional prayer for our children, parents, teachers, and school administration as they launch into this new school year. I hope you can join us for worship and this special prayer time.
