I hope your week is going well. Last week we kicked off a series called Life Together. We began by talking about Life Together in Christ. Though we come from a variety of backgrounds, we unite around the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is good news for all the world. Starting on September 5th we will journey through a sermon series aimed at exploring who we are in light of who Christ is and who Christ has called us to be. The series title is Life Together. Here are the three stops we will make on the journey:
September 5 - Life Together in Christ
September 12 - Life Together in Community
September 19 - Life Together in Service

We are excited to announce that we have hired our next part-time Worship Directors. Andrea and Dominique German will be co-leading this very important ministry. Although we have not yet incorporated live music into our worship gatherings on Sunday mornings, Dom and Drea will begin working in this role on July 14. They will spend their first few weeks building relationships, preparing administratively, and helping ensure our equipment is ready for a full worship service.

Connection groups have been such a life-giving, rich, and meaningful time in the midst of the last year. Each Sunday as we gather on zoom it is good to laugh and pray and connect with each other. What a gift this has been! This Sunday, May 30th, will be the last gathering as we take a pause for summer. Groups will resume in the fall.
Starting mid-June we will begin in-person gatherings again! Mark your calendar:
Wow! We, as a church, raised and donated $1060 to Hope Active for their Backpack Giveaway. Thank you for being such generous and faithful givers.
As we shared last week, Ecclesia is partnering with Hope Active again, a local organization you can read about here, to help raise funds for their annual backpack drive. From now until next Sunday, May 23rd we have a goal of reaching $1,000 to donate to help families with school supplies, and feel we can meet that with your help.
