Join us over the next 3 Sundays as we take a break from our traditional format.

October 2nd | Hymn Sing

Come and sing together! "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!"

October 9th | Family style Brunch

Bring a dish to share as we gather together to break bread and enjoy a meal together. All ages will be together for our meal, there will be no kid connect or early childhood class.

October 16th | Lectio Divina

This will be a time of scripture reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God's Word.

We have an exciting opportunity for us to grow closer to one another and for us to create a clearer vision of who we are and who we want to be as a church family. This fall we will work with Trisha Taylor of The Leader's Journey to engage in two purposeful listening exercises. We want to invite all who consider themselves a part of Ecclesia Clear Lake to make these conversations a priority.

There are two registrations, one for the September date and one for the October date, we would love for you to attend both. Childcare will be provided for 10 & under, please be sure to list each child and age on the registration. If you have any questions you can ask any of our elders.

Baptism Sunday

Fall Small Groups

Genuine and deeper relationship with God and with each other is a way we journey together as a church. Small groups are one of the ways we take the time to enter in to life together. We are excited to announce that we will have three small groups meeting this fall! We would love for you to consider joining one. Below you can join any of the groups to get email updates or even just to get more information. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to any of the leaders.

Clear Lake City North Small Group

This group meets twice a month beginning Sep. 23rd:

Back to School Prayer

As summer winds down and we transition to the beginning of a new school year, we will be sharing in a special prayer time this Sunday for our students, our parents, our teachers and administrators, and all that goes in to preparing for a new year. This time encompasses a whole range of emotions for many - joy, excitement, stress, fear, worry and even grief. We acknowledge it all and we would love for you to join us this week!

COVID Policy Status

At this time the elders are not making any changes to our COVID policies. Masks remain optional for our indoor gatherings. We are monitoring the rising Covid positivity and hospitalization rate. We will continue to monitor the numbers and prayerfully consider any changes to our policies. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Pentecost Sunday - Interview with Pastor Joel Sommers

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday on the church calendar. On Pentecost we join the historical and global multiethnic, multicultural, and multilingual church to celebrate the birth of the church and to remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit found in Acts 2. Historically, it is a great day of celebration!

Rather than have a traditional sermon this week, we will watch a prerecorded interview with Pastor Joel Sommers of Access Covenant Church in Portland, OR. In the interview, Pastor Joel reflects on theology of place and why it matters for the local church. We will use the interview as a launching pad to discuss what it means to be the local church in our bodies, in our local community, and at this time. Join us for this special Sunday!
